Happy Holidays, Neighbors
Dave, Stephanie, and Debbie has raised the HOA dues so they can by pass the special assessment issue that the homeowners did not want by the vote they tried so hard to get. So they are going to spend the $35,000 anyway without your vote. Sounds like the Beltway.

Special Accessment
Current Issue is the approval the HOA Board is seeking for $34,000 for flowers, a new monument sign, and tree maintainance. At the meeting on Aug 3, it was announced that they have proxies voting 29 for and 16 against. Besides the HOA Board and SBB, there were about 6 HOA members present. See attached doc's for amounts to be expensed. Some members expressed a concern for the increased traffic noise for their adjacent property. Others expressed a issue with the timing for such an accessment during this time of economic duress. Some were asking why the current vendors were not taking care of this, and thus avoiding this expense.
David Murashigie, HOA Treasurer, said the HOA board will go door to door seeking more proxies to complete a quorum (which is 75) in the next 30 days. The Meeting brochure is available on the side bar.
